Meetings | Monday at Noon

The Rotary Club of Ventura-South meets on Mondays at noon, at the Wedgewood Banquet Center. The Club is well known for having the most enjoyable lunch in the county. One of the highlights of its meetings is song time, featuring lyrics topical to the season or the club's current focus. Meetings begin at 12:00 PM and adjourn at 1:15 PM.

Directions: From the Ventura Freeway (Highway 101), take Victoria Avenue south to Olivas Park Drive. Go left (east) on Olivas Park Drive for about a quarter mile. The Wedgewood Banquet Center is on the right, sharing a parking lot with the Buenaventura Golf Course.

The Rotary Club of Ventura-South is a member of Rotary District 5240 and a member of Rotary International.

The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:

FIRST. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service;

SECOND. High ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;

THIRD. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;

FOURTH. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
